Non Slip ‘Grip Chair Pad’

A full seat pad covered in ‘Grippa’ fabric which is also waterproof for seat protection. This product will hold the resident safely within the chair, keeping them secure should they tend towards sliding forward.
Note: Excessive movement by the resident may result in less protection. The product is washable and can be dried in a tumble drier – low temp. Excessive heat will damage the outer fabric.

Foam Based ‘Grip’ Chair Support Cushion

New technology has allowed the development of a cushion which gives pressure support as well as safety to the end user. The shape of the cushion positions the resident towards the rear of the chair whilst at the same time raising the legs under the thighs. This position will make raising up out of the chair more difficult, keeping the them in a more safe and secure position. The cushion is made up of the following:

  • 3x layers of special foam.
  • Top layer – Memory Viscose foam for pressure support
  • Centre layer – Medium Density foam for comfort
  • Bottom layer – Block foam for support

The outer cover is a Poly Vinyl ‘Grippa’ fabric which is waterproof, breathable, and is able to be cleaned by wiping with antifungal spray wipes. The fabric has a high tolerance to salts and other similar fluids. The cushion will fit most types of lounge chairs, including Lazy Boy type chairs. Wooltec are able to custom design and manufacture this product.
